Weiss On Top As Series Aims For Fiesta City

After 7 events, the #7 car of Canadian Driver Ricky Weiss sits in the top spot of the Wollak Construction WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series Presented by QA1. Weiss is holding on to a slim 9 point lead over Ham Lake, MN driver Don Shaw. Pat Doar of New Richmond, WI is a close third in points just 13 points back in the familiar #11 car. Defending Champion John Kaanta along with Marshall Fegers, Steve Laursen, Jeff Wildung, Cole Schill, Rick Hanestad, Lance Matthees, Jake Redetzke, Blake Swenson, Ryan Mikkelson, Jeffrey Massingill, Buddy Hanestad, Darrell Nelson, and Shane Edginton are all still in the hunt for this years $10,000 to win Wollak Construction Challenge Series Championship.

Friday, June 15th the series returns to Fiesta City Speedway for a $3,000 to win $300 to start event. The 8th stop on the Challenge Series Schedule will include Fiesta City Speedways regular classes as well and will begin at 7 pm at the Chippewa County Fairgrounds.
