Wissota Late Model Challenge Series
2016 One Main Challenge Series Kicks Off With 4Some In South Dakota
The 2016 edition of the One Main WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series will kick off on June 2nd through 5th with a four pack of events in Eastern South Dakota. The first event on the 2016 schedule is slated to be the Iverson’s Dakota Challenge at the Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, SD on Thursday, June 2nd and will pay $5,000 to win and $500 to start. Iverson Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram of Huron will serve as the event sponsor. Start time is scheduled for 7:00pm with draw cutoff at 6:30.
Friday, June 3rd, the series will move to the Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, SD for the Bullet Sportswear Challenge, which is a $2,000 to win / $200 to start event. Start time is set for 7:00pm with draw cutoff at 6:30.
Saturday night, June 4th, the series moves back to Huron to the Dakota State Fair Speedway for the series’ richest race of the season – the Prostrollo’s Challenge Cup XVI, which is a $10,000 to win / $1000 to start event sponsored by Prostrollo Motor Sales. This event will have a special format involving a pair of qualifying heat races, utilizing passing points to determine the feature lineup. Start time will be at 7:00pm with draw cut off 6:30. And then Sunday, June 5th, the series moves to the Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD for the annual Marilyn Olson Memorial Challenge, which is a $2,071 to win / $200 to start event. Start time is set for 6:30pm with draw cutoff at 6:00.
