Wissota Late Model Challenge Series
Rice Lake Speedway on May 29
St Augusta, MN (April 1, 2021) - Rice Lake Speedway has agreed to add a second Structural Buildings WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series event to their schedule in May.
Originally schedule for May 29, 2021, North Central Speedway and series officials were forced to cancel an event at the Brainerd, MN speedway due to mileage conflicts. "The cancelation of that event was a tough one for the series," said Carson Gramm, WISSOTA Executive Director.
An event at the Rice Lake Speedway in Rice Lake, WI has been added to the schedule for May 29, 2021 in place of the North Central Speedway event. "Shortly after that cancellation, we were contacted by Dave Adams and the group at Rice Lake Speedway," said Gramm. "After a brief conversation and discussion with the scheduling director, the series is proud to announce the addition of an event at Rice Lake Speedway for May 29, 2021."
The first weekend of the series will start with a Friday night show at Princeton Speedway on May 28, 2021 then the next night at the Rice Lake Speedway on May 29, 2021. The opening weekend will be rounded out on Memorial Day for $3,000 at the newly renovated Granite City Motorpark in Sauk Rapids, MN.
